The Dollmaker attends the
Benefit Exhibition
After she found out that her Donation,
the Angel of Persistence
Sold at the Exhibition! (WOOT!!)
(proceeds go to help rebuild the fire damaged area).
Here's the email the Dollmaker received:
Hi Kandra,
I wanted to let you know
that we had the pleasure of red dotting your piece at the opening on Saturday night.
Very exciting!
I know how personal this all is for you and I just want to express how honored
we are
that you were able to participate after everything you've been through.
Also, I wanted to let you know that Roxanne Hernandez bought your piece.
Roxanne is not only another one of the artists in this exhibition,
but she also heads up the Lost Pines Recovery Team,
which is the recipient of all of the funds that we are raising here.
This seemed extra special to me and I thought you'd like to know
that your piece could not be going to a more remarkable person.
I'm not sure of your availability this week,
but the show runs through this Sat May 5th.
If you have a chance to come by, we would love to meet you.
Thank you again for everything. It's been such a great pleasure!
All the best,
Nina
the Exhibit...
...evoked both Joy and Sorrow,
the Gallery Space was open and spacious-
...with just the right touch of Grunge for the occasion...
the Organizers were sincere and friendly
and they even instructed us to go and bring in Mason the Dog,
so he wouldn't have to wait in the car!
Thanks, you folks.

Outer space isn't really that far away. As astronomer Fred Hoyle used to say, you'd get there in an hour if you could drive a car straight up.
