Check out Catherine's Witch who had fabulous orange wormy yarn for hair.

  This Witch Class was Catherine's third dollmaking class. Her smiling face was among those pictured in that infamous photo of the very first dollmaking class.

 (infamous because it was  afterwards used SO OFTEN to tell people about the classes...)

That was Catherine who bought those legendary eight extra doll bodies that day, and last December she also made a blue fairy in the SugarPlum Fairy Class.

wOW! wHAT GREAT EXPRESSION Joanne got in the face of this doll!

            Joanne was the Enthusiastic Encouraging Force behind that first Dollmaking Class.

She has attended three classes and made three dolls - a Goddess, a SugarPlum Fairy, and now a Witch.

This is one dynamic lady, folks. Now lately her contagious enthusiasm is once again inspiring the dollmaker- this time it's about HATS!

Nancilee's witch turned out positively angelic. Also an advanced student, Nancilee has become a Dollmaker's Apprentice in this last year.

She has learned how to sew the doll bodies and even the doll noses. The first Bottle Dolls had Nancilee noses on them!

A great big thanks goes out to her for all her help!

YAY.

This year the garden has a new look !

ok, every year the garden has a new look, but this time it's really

ORANGE.

 (uh- yeah - we used pumpkins for orange stain "in those days")

But yes, we do have an ORANGE THING going on this year in the Doll Garden.

Mini-Wees.

The Mini-Wees are getting 3-D faces this year! 

Yeah- its pretty interesting what is happening with this little wooden doll body!

BOTTLE DOLLS.

Bottle Dolls will make their first appearance in the Houston area!

These dolls are going to love the Doll Garden at the Texas Renaissance Festival...

because they are vases, and can hold flowers.

The Bottle Dolls will love to have the orange-y colored flowers of fall

(fresh-cut, dried or live flowers can go into these dolls)

cascading down their shoulders and blooming out above their little doll heads.

BeadHead Dolls.

Unique, one-of-a-kind and

WEARABLE. oh yeah.
